After talking with a few people, I've decided to give this a go. I am offering, for a fee, to help set up free websites (where it will be *yourname*.weebly.com). I use weebly personally, but I am familiar with other free hosting sites and can work with them as well.
For $15 dollars I will help you set up one page on a web site and give instruction on how to maintain the page, add new content, and manage your links. Maximum time spent not to exceed 1 hour. If more time is needed I will ask another $15.
Included in the service for $15 - Set up web page, add content provided by client, spend 1 hour instructing how to add content, links, images.
Not included - Graphic design, writing any content, searching down links, gathering images, page maintenance.
Page maintenance and additional pages on the same site are available.
|Schedule of Fees|
|Set up account and 1 page||$15|
|Each additional page on 1 account||$15|
|Page maintenance (per page)||$2.00-$15.00|
The website will be under your name and you will have total control over it, so if you want me to teach you a bit about how to update and make changes I'd be glad to do that. Minimum of one hour per session at $15.00/hour. (The initial set up of the site includes live assistance from me, for no more than 1 hour)
All content, images, links, will be provided by the client through email.
The client is solely responsible for holding the copyright or license for any image used on the site. If you need an image, I suggest checking out https://pixabay.com/ that is where most of my images and backgrounds come from. Just be sure to confirm that it is free for commercial use with no attribution required.
This is basically going to be a trial run, and this is the only place I'm going to offer this for the moment. If there's something above that you don't understand or wish for me to elaborate on, feel free to comment or message me!
Examples of my sites on weebly:
As you can tell, I like weebly, but I can use other platforms. I use weebly because it's the best free option I've found and I've used about 10 different ones over the past 7 or 8 years.
Currently only accepting PayPal.
